How is it that we are already encroaching on double digits?!

A Day In the Life Of An Accountant / Mom

6am: Wake up, get ready for the day, say hello to Martin in the kitchen (while he preps lunches for the kids) and kiss the kids goodbye before they are even out of bed 

6:30: Depart for a much needed coffee with Hubert my old boss and now fellow CAO

7am: Proper vent session on everything from staffing problems and struggles with business partners to reminiscing about the old days 

8am: Uber to Airbnb for KPMG hosted CAO breakfast with Hubert to continue the vent session but in a more productive way

10:30: Waymo to UCSF to meet up with my parents for a doctors appointment for my dad 

1pm: Muni to SF Jazz downtown for the Klairty AI conference 

1:30: Realize I missed the breakout session that I was hustling to attend (I thought it was at 1:30, turns out it was at 11) but still enjoyed a few speakers

4:30: Happy hour with coworkers (new and old) at the conclusion of the conference 

5:00: Uber home for approximately 15 minutes to myself

5:30: Help Martin load up the car for his night at Timber Cove 

5:30: Navigate my way through an hour-long meltdown from Alva because I didn’t want to go out to sushi dinner but was happy to order in (Oskar was at sleep-away camp with school so it was just me and Alva for dinner). Come to find out she was afraid that if we ordered in, it wouldn’t be enough food and she would still be hungry 

6:30: Make sushi at home with Alva 

7:30: Enjoy a few snuggles with Alva on the couch before calling it a day
