Occupy Kramer Place

Exactly 2 hours after Martin finished the bathroom, our house became the next site of the Occupation movement…we called it Occupy Kramer Place.  For three weeks our house was temporarily seized by friends, family and loved ones, ending only this past Tuesday.

The occupation began June 5th with the arrival of Martin’s parents.  Their 17 day visit included trips throughout Northern California including Napa Valley, Carmel Valley, Yosemite Valley, Lake Tahoe and 7 nights in our one bathroom home.

After a lovely and entertaining visit, including numerous dinners out and in and a few rounds of not-so-friendly cards they left us on Thursday morning…only to be replaced by my girlfriends who arrived shortly thereafter for a weekend-long celebration of the upcoming nuptials of Erin and Nick.  Neff and Ange came in early on Thursday night, 9 other girls arrived on Friday for the weekend in Tiburon and Anj and Jo returned with me to San Francisco on Sunday, with Jo leaving on Tuesday afternoon.

It was great to show off our house and all of Martin’s hard work…but I am definitely ready to enjoy our new, and finally finished, home with just the two of us.
