An Aussie Wedding

After 3 years of dating, this was Martin and my first wedding together…so go figure it was an Australian wedding rather than American or German.  It was up to me then, to help walk Martin through the process of the day.  And it was a beautiful day!

The wedding took place on the Bluffs in Wollongong, at the base of the Lighthouse setting the stage for a perfect day.  With limited seating, we were able to walk around prior to the bride´s entrance, meet the other guests and introduce Martin to my extended Aussie and Truckee families.

The bride Dallas, groom Ryan and their two lovely twin daughters looked absolutely blissful and happy as they exchanged their vows.  And their smiles and laughter continued on at the reception nearby and at the post-party at the local brewery later that night.  The love, funny stories and smiles were infectious… carrying on for over 12 hours of seeing old friends and making new ones in the process.

 The Aussie and Truckee Family!

Enjoying the day

Old friends and new

We wrapped up the night, like all good nights, at McDonalds, on our way back to the hotel.  And after a lengthy good-bye, I know we will be back soon to catch up with my friends again soon.
